Norwegian hotels taking a well-deserved place on the international stage.
We are delighted to congratulate two of our cherished clients, Storfjord Hotel and Hotel Union Øye, on being awarded MICHELIN Keys in the first edition of the MICHELIN Guide hotel distinction for the Nordic region in 2025.
Storfjord Hotel was awarded 2 MICHELIN Keys, which recognises “an exceptional stay, where the personality and character of the hotel contribute to an unforgettable experience.”
Hotel Union Øye received 1 MICHELIN Key, denoting “a very special stay, offering something different and above average in its category.”
These recognitions reflect more than excellence in service. They honour properties with deep-rooted heritage, distinct identities and a dedication to authentic, place-based hospitality. From design to guest experience, every detail at these two hotels is a reflection of a clear, thoughtful concept brought to life with care and precision.
Behind these achievements are not only passionate leaders and teams, but also visionary owners whose long-term commitment and belief in purposeful, high-quality hospitality make such recognitions possible pushing the boundaries of modern luxury hospitality.
At RG Hospitality Management, it's a privilege to have supported both properties on their journeys. At Storfjord Hotel, we provided an Interim General Manager and a Director of Quality & Host at Hotel Union Øye.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the Nordic properties recognised in this year’s selection. The introduction of the MICHELIN Keys marks an exciting new chapter in international hospitality and we are thrilled to see Nordic and specifically Norwegian hotels taking a well-deserved place on the international stage.
